I can't believe it is already July 16th? Where has time gone? We just got back from Ben's village in Kaliro. Where we spent 6 days loving the happiest, gentlest, simplest people in the world.

It was an amazing week of meeting people, building a long drop(bathroom), encouraging, empowering and doing life with members of the community.

The trip ended with singing, dancing barefoot in the pouring rain, and busting out the shampoo to shower in it.

i am convinced that the village is really where my ♥ is.

Medical Clinic # 2 in Katanga Slum

Well friends, we successfully held another medical outreach in Katanga Slums. With over thirty volunteers half from America and the other half from Uganda, we served 238 people!
We had the following stations:
1. Public health education
2. Eye rinsing and pink eye treatment
3. Tooth brushing/flossing and education4. Fungus treatment
5. Basic wound care
6. Vitamins, De-wormer, and Hydration
7. & Pharmacy
